Mr. Manoj Tirodkar, Chairman

Mr. Manoj Tirodkar, founder of the Global Group is the Chairman of GTL Infrastructure Ltd. He is a first generation entrepreneur, widely recognized for his efforts towards creating an efficient and environment-friendly telecom industry. He has been championing the cause of shared telecom infrastructure and green telecom.

Mr. Tirodkar is recipient of several awards and recognitions for his contribution to industry and entrepreneurship. He is the first Indian to win the prestigious “World Young Business Achiever Award 2000” (WYBA) presented by Worldcom Group. He has also received the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Young Entrepreneur Trophy and Telecom Man of the year Award.

Mr. N. Balasubramanian, Vice Chairman & Independent Director

Mr. N. Balasubramanian holds a post graduate degree in science and a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was the General Manager of Bank of Baroda before joining Small Industries Development Bank of India as Deputy Managing Director and was subsequently promoted as its Chairman and Managing Director. He was instrumental in starting rating agency SME Rating Agency of India Ltd. Mr. Balasubramanian has also served on the board of IFCI Limited as its Chairman for a short stint and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd.

Mr. Milind Naik, Whole Time Director & COO

Mr. Milind Naik, Whole Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for commercial, operations and cost optimization measures. He has extensive experience in the telecom industry with expertise in treasury operations.

His vibrant personality has made him people's person. Mr. Naik has been associated with Global Group for over 26 years.

Mr. Charudatta Naik, Director

Mr. Charudatta Naik has an experience of over 24 years in the telecom industry spanning across, Technical Support, Sales & Marketing and Business Operations.

He is on the board of GTL Infrastructure Limited. Mr. Charudatta Naik provides strategic guidance to Group companies to enhance the Group's growth potential, globally.

Mr. Charudatta Naik has earlier worked with companies like Crompton Greaves and Unitel Communications. He is an Engineering Graduate in Electronics & Telecom.

Dr. Anand Patkar, Independent Director

Dr. Patkar is a rank holder in management studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and holds a Ph.D. in Management (Finance), from the Mumbai University. He has handled a variety of assignments across all areas of Finance, Corporate Planning, Strategic Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Collaborations and Joint Ventures, Feasibility Studies, Budgetary Control, Human Resource Development, Treasury and Systems in Diverse Industries for last 40 years. He is also the author of the book “Master the Mind Monkey: Experience Your Excellence”. He is actively involved in various roles as Management Educator. Dr. Patkar has also served on the board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as an Independent Director.

Mr. Vinod B. Agarwala, Independent Director

Mr. Agarwala is an Advocate & Solicitor, Mumbai. He is also Solicitor, Supreme Court of England & Wales and Advocate of Supreme Court of India. He has been practicing his profession in Mumbai for the last 35 years. Mr. Agarwala specializes in Corporate Laws, Securities Laws, Project Finance, Property Law, FDI and Commercial Laws. He is a Partner in Vigil Juris, Solicitors and Advocates, Mumbai.

Mr. Vijay Vij, Independent Director

Mr. Vij is a practicing Chartered Accountant and has an experience of 21 years in almost every facet of Taxation, Auditing and Consulting profession. He is an ardent finance professional and his forte lies in Direct Taxation, Valuations, Financial Modeling, Business Consultancy, System Implementation, Advising on M & A, SEZ / STPI Advisory etc. He has effectively handled business restructuring and startup ventures in competitive business environments. He has hands on experience in providing advice on tax efficient entry strategy for India, transfer pricing and tax treaty implications.

Mrs. Sonali P. Choudhary, Independent Director

Mrs. Sonali Choudhary is a law graduate from Mumbai University and has done her masters in Finance Management. She was the legal head of power business of GTL Limited. She is an ardent law professional and her forte lies in arbitration, mergers & acquisition, risk management. She has an experience of over 10 years in this field.

Mr. Milind Bengali, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Milind Bengali is a Bachelor of Engineering and Masters in Management Studies. He is responsible for business and operations of the company. He was earlier heading the M&A function for Global Group. He has over 25 years of experience in Telecom and ITES across Business Operations & Strategy, Sales & Marketing and Business & Market Development and P&L. Besides India, he has lived and worked in Africa and North America. He has previously worked with Crompton Greaves, Aptech & The Thapar Group.

Mr. L. Y. Desai, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. L. Y. Desai is a Charted Accountant and Company Secretary, he has over 30 years of experience in industries like telecom and renewable energy. He has been associated with Global Group for 20 years. During his tenure at Global Group, he has handled various assignments like Group CFO, Country Head for USA, Head Capital Markets & Investor Relations, Global Head Sales & Marketing, and Deputy Chief Operating Officer with GTL Limited. Before joining Global Group he worked with Crompton Greaves Limited.

Mr. R. S. Ahluwalia, President - Business Development

Mr. Rupinder Ahluwalia is the President and Business Head with GTL Infrastructure Ltd. He is an Engineering Graduate from University of Delhi and Post Graduate in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, besides being a Fellow at the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Member of All India Management Association and the International Telecommunication Union.

He has almost three decades of varied experience in areas such as International Marketing, Business Operations, Strategy and Business Transition. Prior to his tenure at GTL Infrastructure, he was the Country Manager at CINCOM Systems USA and Director of Philips Telecommunications UK.

Mr. Prasanna Bidnurkar, Head CDR Operations

Mr. Prasanna Bidnurkar is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University. He is responsible for all the matters related to CDR.

He has been associated with GTL Infrastructure Ltd. for over 5 years and has an overall experience of over 13 years in the field of Finance, Treasury, Contract Management, Budgets and MIS.

He has been associated with organizations like EDS, GTL Limited and Indian Hotels prior to joining GTL Infrastructure Limited.

Mr. Bhupendra Kiny, Head - Pricing & Costing

Mr. Bhupendra Kiny is a Chartered Accountant with vast experience in Finance and Accounts. He has an overall 22 years of experience and has been associated with Global Group since 1997. He is responsible for Budgeting and Monitoring, Cost Optimisation, Pricing and Commercials, Funding, Cash Flows and Risk Management.

Mr. Ashutosh Chandratrey, Sr. Vice President - Human Resources

Mr. Ashutosh Chandratrey is an MBA in H.R. and heads the Human Resources function of GTL Infrastructure Ltd. His responsibilities include talent acquisition and H.R. operations. Mr. Ashutosh Chandratrey has been associated with GTL Infrastructure right from inception. He has over 36 years of experience across Telecom, Manufacturing and Service domains. In the past, he has worked with companies like Columbia Films of India Ltd., Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., Bennett & Coleman and the Jindal Group.

Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar, President - Corporate Affairs & Group Head - Business Development

Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar is President Corporate Affairs & Group Head Business Development. He has over 17 years of experience with Global Group Enterprises, across the domains of Telecom Infrastructure, Network Services, and Power Distribution. Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar joined the Global Group as a Management Trainee and has grown up the ranks while performing responsibilities in the areas of Business Development, Business Operations, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs. Prior to this, he was the Whole Time Director and Head - Power Business Unit for GTL Limited.

Mr. Arun Prabhukhanolkar is also a Trustee of the Global Foundation, a not for profit initiative of the Global Group. Global Foundation supports the underprivileged in the areas of disability, education, health and community welfare.

Mr. Eugene Valles, Vice President – Training and Organisation Development

Mr. Eugene Valles is a Masters in Business Administration from the Goa Institute Of Management. He is responsible for Training and Organization Development functions. Prior to Joining GTL Infrastructure, he has worked with GTL International Limited as Head – Human Resources. He has over 23 years of experience and has been associated with the Global Group for over 19 years. He has also worked with companies like Searle India Limited and Hindustan Ciba Geigy. His hobbies include traveling and playing football and cricket.
