Mr. N. Balasubramanian, Vice Chairman & Independent Director

Mr. N. Balasubramanian holds a post graduate degree in science and a post-graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

He was the General Manager of Bank of Baroda before joining Small Industries Development Bank of India as Deputy Managing Director and was subsequently promoted as its Chairman and Managing Director. He was instrumental in starting rating agency SME Rating Agency of India Ltd.

Mr. Balasubramanian has also served on the board of IFCI Limited as its Chairman for a short stint and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd.
