Fundraising Events – Delhi & Mumbai Marathon

Every year, Global Group employees participate in the mega events with great zeal. In 2015-2016 Global Group Employees supported Global Foundation’s social causes through Cyclothon, Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and Hiranandani Thane Marathon. About 150 employees participated to support and donate to Global Foundation.

Art of Giving

Art of Giving is a voluntary Payroll Donating initiative of Global Foundation to encourage Global Group Employees to provide Financial Contributions. To encourage the Art of Giving, Global Foundation conducts Induction Workshops, appeals through e-mails and conducts Payroll Giving Week.

Social Impact: 500 Global Group employees are currently donating to the Global Foundation through Payroll Giving Program. Positrons are contributing to the educational development of AASARA children. They have also taken part in soft skills development and English language training programme for the visually impaired students.

Pralay

Project Pralay is a welfare assistance scheme floated by Global Foundation for people who have suffered from natural disaster like Tsunami, Floods, Earthquake, etc. The objective is to mitigate the impact of natural disaster on life and property with timely assistance and intervention.

Social Impact: Since its inception, Project Pralay has benefited over 300 people.

Employee Volunteerism – Positrons

Global Foundation has launched Employee Volunteerism Program way back in 2005 to encourage active employee volunteerism. The employee volunteers are known as Positrons. They contribute by serving the social causes; “World Changers Program” by conducting motivational workshops and practical volunteerism at field level, organizing Blood Donation Camps, imparting Soft Skills to visually impaired and supporting children of NGO “AASARA”.
